When you've created the next big idea for a company, it might be time to ask for investment, or for a key team member to join up with you. But how do you do that so that you increase your chances of helping get your company off the ground? Hi, I'm Andrew Childress for Envato Tuts+. And that's exactly what we're going to cover in this course, as we learn how to build pitch decks in Microsoft PowerPoint. Well, what is a pitch deck? Basically, one of the key things about the pitch deck format is that it usually leads to asking for something from the members of the audience. That might be investment from an early stage investor, or maybe even for a key team member to join as a new hire. Pitch decks are really an important format these days as more and more companies try to get off the ground. But how can you build one in less time? The answer is that we're going to use pre-built templates that have all of the elements that you need in them, from Envato elements. These formats are really the best way to skip ahead in the process of building a pitch deck and inspire confidence in your message. Ultimately, the outcome that I want you to have is confidence in what you give as a pitch deck to an audience. In this course, we're going to build that together. So let's go ahead and jump in.Back to the top
