How to Quickly Make Agenda Slides in PowerPoint (With PPT Templates)
When starting a meeting, it’s often a good idea to make it clear what the meeting will cover at the outset. For those that use visual aids, an agenda slide PowerPoint presentation can be super helpful in this regard.

Setting the agenda for the time you’ll spend with your team or a client ensures everyone is on the same page and knows what to expect. And rather than starting from scratch, using pre-made agenda slides in PowerPoint can help simplify this task greatly.
Lucky for you, that’s exactly what we’ll discuss here today. After briefly reviewing what you can use agenda slides for, we’ll walk you through a step-by-step tutorial for customizing agenda slides for your next presentation (and before your next big meeting).
What Are Agenda Slides Used For?
As we briefly touched on, agenda slides are used to introduce what a meeting or presentation will discuss. This type of slide can serve as a simple table of contents or as a timed schedule for what will occur through the meeting.
Agenda slides can be used to introduce what activities or events will happen at an event as a part of a planning committee. Or they can be used to showcase what your team will be discussing during your current meeting.
No matter how you decide to use them, agenda slides are another useful type of presentation slide that can simplify your workflow while providing your team with the information they need upfront.
How to Make Agenda Slides in PowerPoint Quickly and Easily
With the introductions out of the way, let’s now discuss how to actually make agenda slides in PowerPoint.
We’ll be using the Cubex PowerPoint Presentation template.

A few notable features of this template include the fact it comes with 138 unique slides (including an agenda slide), HD resolution, and easy customization for colors, fonts, and images. It also includes animated slides and a range of transitions.
Let's get started with our tutorial:
1. Open the Cubex PowerPoint Template
Now, to get started with creating an agenda slide in PowerPoint, you need to open the Cubex template. It should look like this:

2. Select the Agenda Slide to Edit
This template comes with a wide range of slides that you can use for just about any purpose. We’ll be focusing our attention on just the agenda slide today, which is Slide #4 in this template:

3. Replace the Logo
Your first order of business is to replace the logo. As you can see, this template comes with a placeholder logo or graphic in the upper right-hand corner. You can easily replace this by selecting it:

Then you can replace it with an image of your choice. Or you could create a shape directly in PowerPoint to replace it. To create this star, we first deleted the placeholder, then clicked Shapes and selected the Star shape. We then resized the star to best fit the space provided.

4. Add Custom Text to the Header
Next, we’re adding custom text to the header area. You can do this quickly and easily by selecting the text box then start typing:

5. Add Custom Text for Each Agenda Item
You can follow this same procedure for customizing the text for each agenda item. Simply, select the appropriate text box and start typing to add a description of the agenda item as you see fit:

6. Customize the Times Listed
And again, you can customize the times on your agenda in the same way as in steps 4 and 5. Just click the text box for each time and input the time for your agenda items. It really is that simple.

7. Change the Aesthetics of the Times
With your basic information input into the agenda slides, we can now start working on the aesthetics. Let’s say you want to change how the times are presented and adjust the size of the text boxes. Simply click the text box you wish to modify:

Then drag the sizing tool until the box is the size you’d like it to be:

You can then make the text box around the times visible – perhaps to draw more attention to them in your presentation. To do this, select the time text box again, then go up to the Shape Outline menu. In this example, we then selected Sketched and chose the top line style:

You can also drag to select all the time text boxes and apply this change to all the text boxes at once:

Upon further inspection, these lines are a bit too thin. To make them bolder, we changed the weight on the lines by selecting all four text boxes again then click Shape Outline > Weight > 4 ½ pt:

And this is what our changes look like so far:

8. Change the Aesthetics of the Title
Next up, it’s time to change how the title looks, too.
To make modifications, we selected the title text box as follows:

Then, we clicked the Shape Fill menu option. From there, we selected Gradient and then chose the From Center option under Light Variations:

9. Change the Aesthetics of the Agenda Items
After customizing the title a bit, we wanted to customize the text boxes for each agenda item a bit more, too. To do this, we selected all four agenda item description text boxes as previously discussed.
Next, we selected Shape Fill then under the heading Fill selected the radio button next Pattern fill. Under Pattern, we chose the first option, a light polka dot pattern:

10. Finalize Text for Legibility
Your last order of business here is, of course, to ensure the text in your agenda slide is clear and legible. You may need to play around with the font and font size a bit to find something that looks good on screen.

And always remember to test your slides in a faux presentation to ensure all is well before you need to give your presentation for real.
