Google Slides is a web-based presentation software much like PowerPoint or Apple Keynote. You can even use custom templates to create perfect presentation designs in it. We'll learn how to get more themes for Google Slides in this quick video and written tutorial.

How to Get More Themes on Google Slides

1. Select a Theme From Envato Elements

For presentation themes I always like to use Envato Elements, an all you can download service for creatives with many design elements. All of these templates on Envato Elements are compatible with Google Slides, so you can download any of them to get started with your presentation.
2. Download a PPTX Template for Google Slides

I've gone ahead and downloaded a template. In this case, the Google Slides template, Circles. Now let's open it up and find the .pptx file. You may know this as the PowerPoint file format, but it works with Google Slides too.
All of the themes on Elements in the category we looked at were filtered for Google Slides and work nicely with it.
3. Drag & Drop the Theme to Your Drive

Once you find the PPTX file you can just drag and drop it into your drive to upload it and start working with it in your own presentation.
4. Finishing Up

Now that we've uploaded a theme. You can start designing your presentation just as you normally would with Google Slides, but instead of designing from scratch you've got a great-looking head start with a custom template.
