How to Quickly Save a PowerPoint to PDF

Note: Watch this short tutorial screencast or follow the quick steps that compliment this video.
1. Export With Create PDF/XPS Document
When you're ready to share your slides as a PDF, go to the file menu and choose Export. Now, make sure you've selected, Create PDF/XPS Document. And we'll click on Create PDF/XPS.

2. Set the Save As Type to PDF
On the menu that pops up, the first thing you'll want to do is choose where to save your PDF. I'll just choose the Desktop in this case. Now, you could give it a file name by typing in the File Name box. Make sure that the Save as type is set to PDF as well.

3. Adjust Options Before Saving to PDF
Now, we could click, Publish, to save our PDF as is, but let's click on Options to look at some additional features. In the range section, we could leave this set to All to export every slide as a part of a PDF, or choose the Current Slide or the slides option to choose a specific number of slides to export.

Finishing Up!
On the Publish what dropdown, you could choose anything from the standard slides, to handouts or pages with notes. I'll press OK and choose Publish to save.
