1. Convert the Template From PowerPoint to Google Slides
When you get your Google Slides template, it'll open as a PowerPoint template. To get your template into Google Slides, you need to go to Google Drive first. Then, click on the +New button in the left top corner of your window.



When you click on the +New button, a menu drops down. From the drop-down menu, click on the File upload option. This brings up a file finder on your computer. Locate the file or the template you want to use and double-click on it.



2. Set Page Size



When you’re making your poster, you need to set the page size in order for your poster to look like a poster. To change the size of your slide, click on the File button in the menu bar.
