How to Edit a Brain Infographic PowerPoint Template in 60 Seconds

A brain infographic is a pretty cool tool that you can use to illustrate thoughts. I'll show you how to customize one in this quick screencast and written tutorial.

How to Edit a Brain PPT Template Quickly

1. Assign the Parts of the Brain PowerPoint Template

I start with a pre-built brain infographic slide that you can download now from Envato Elements. There's no shortage of purposes for this slide, but what I'm going to create in this example is a diagram that explains the type of job we're hiring for.

We need to explain the characteristics that we're looking for in an applicant. Start by typing over the percentage placeholders with the characteristics that'll make the candidate the perfect fit for the job.

2. Update the Explanatory Text Placeholders

brain ppt template — After you've updated the image in the brain PPT template, update the explanatory text on the side.

Also, I can update the placeholders here on the right side to further elaborate on the job role. This is much more engaging and creative than just using a bulleted list.

3. Change the Colors of the Brain Infographic

change brain infographic colors — You can also change the colors on the brain infographic using the **Drawing Tools > Shape Fill** option.

You can even click on the individual elements in the diagram and change the color from the Drawing Tools > Shape Fill option with a single piece selected. I'll come up here and change the color with the Shape field drop-down to try out a different color.
